Your
Journey begins at your Bed and Breakfast in the Lakeside
Community of Cobourg, one hour east of Toronto. A picnic
dinner will await your arrival (bring a bottle of wine if
you wish). The following morning you will enjoy a full hot
breakfast in the elegant dining room.
A
map of Wine Country will be given to you on your arrival
at your Bed and Breakfast for your self-guided tour. Enjoy
the beautiful scenery as you head east on the Old King’s
Highway (#2) and then to the Loyalist Route #33 that was
well traveled by the United Empire Loyalists. We suggest
that you visit at least four wineries to make a full day’s
adventure. Stop along the way at one of the many beautiful
parks to enjoy your delicious and interesting Box Lunch.
Return to your Bed and Breakfast to relax. If you have selected
wine from the many vineyards that you visited, feel free
and take the opportunity to enjoy it! |
